BONGGA!

A Celebration of Queer Art and Self-expression

Being a member of LGBTQ+ is a matter of pride, an act of profound courage to rise above overwhelming adversities from prejudice, humiliation, and harassment.

Art does not only signify self-expression. For the LGBTQ+ community, it has become the way to overcome the many vectors of oppression that continue to generate shame and build the closets—the social stigma of being labeled as ‘salot’—they are living in, and re-engage the radical in achieving social justice and equality without regard to gender, religious, or ethnic attachment.

We have brought together an awesome panel of speakers to share their insights on queer art as cultural movement, gender and identity politics, and social equality in the creative industry.

Celebrate Pride Month with our first live webcast Bongga!
