NOW WHAT? Here's a webinar to discuss Filipino arts, culture in the pandemic
Updated: Nov 25, 2020
It is said that there are no hard and fast rules in art. And as the world shifts and adapts to the changes caused by the pandemic, landscapes in arts and culture alter as well.
Learn about the adjustments that the Filipino arts and culture scene have taken in a quarantined world through Now What: Conversations on Arts and Culture to be hosted by Benilde Arts Management (BeAm) on November 28 at 2:00 to 4:00pm, and November 29, 10:00-11:50AM via Zoom.

The webinar focuses on the current situation of the Philippine art industry and its platforms. With everyone staying inside and socially distancing, the webinar explores how Filipinos in the creative industry have adapted to a world without the physical space of the community.
Speakers include Sandra Palomar Quan, instructor of Arts Management at the De La Salle College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) and Fine Arts at Foundation University in Negros Oriental. Quan will be talking about the current situation in performing arts on “Theatrical Productions at a Time of Crisis.” Bennet Dychangco, regional strategic planning director at Publicis Dubai and Brand Planning Director at Iris Worldwide-Jakarta, will be sharing approaches to marketing in a digital world on “Online Marketing of Art.” Finally, Geraldine Araneta, co-founder of Philippine Art Events Inc., head of the Visual Arts Committee of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, and academic adviser of the Arts Management Program of the School of Design and Arts in DLS-CSB, will discuss “Artistic and Creative Platforms Created during COVID-19.”
The event is open to all for only PhP50. You can register HERE.
