Unveiling the Mysteries of Life, The Manila Bang: ArtFest Int'l 2021 Opens This December

A fiery bang is about to hit its mark, unveiling the intricacies of life.

The Manila Bang: Art Fest International 2021, organized by Galerie Roberto in partnership with Artsper Europe and Art Moments Jakarta, aims to expose the mystery of how life was, is, and will be. The fest will open its on-site component to the public on December 8, 2021, 6PM at the Festival Mall Alabang.

This grand event will house five (5) solo exhibits and ten (10) curated exhibitions from 100 leading local and foreign artists.

The Manila Bang: Art Fest International 2021 exhibitions look into divergent ways, possibilities, and courses of action relating to the visceral, mundane, creative, and artistic processes and production. Central to the idea of the fest is ‘the animate proof of life’, a phrase lifted from Linda Pastan’s 2011 literary collection Traveling Light which untangles the transitory qualities of the mundane, with everything being temporary and characterized by the fleeting suggestions of growth, aging, and loss. Through the exhibitions and expanded programming on contemporary art and culture, the fest explicates the animate proof of life.

Here are a few of the featured artists in the week-long art event:

Anton Del Castillo

Romulo Galicano

Renato Balute

Ram Mallari

Marge Organo
